The READY Summit took place before the 22nd edition of the International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA) in Zimbabwe. The summit was attended by local, regional, and international delegates, including young people from diverse backgrounds, media stakeholders, local social media influencers, representatives from youth-focused NGOs, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and government officials.
The outcome document provides an overview of the sessions and intergenerational dialogues that took place, including in-depth panel discussions on inequalities within youth-led responses to HIV and sexual and reproductive health. The summit also featured interactive skills-building workshops on advocacy, digital health, leadership, and climate change in the context of HIV and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Additionally, the document includes key considerations for future READY Summits and the expansion of the READY Movement.
